Snow much fun!

sooo tired from playing!

We had two awesome blessings today:

1. There was snow to play in and
2. Daddy was home ALL day to play with us!

Chris was supposed to be in Etown this weekend for a basketball tournament but it got cancelled (yay!) so he got to stay home with us all day! (which is a HUGE treat for us during basketball season. Caden kept getting his coat and walking to the door saying "bye-bye" so we finally (I say finally, it was like 9:00am) bundled him up and off in the snow we went. It was still way too cold and once we got out there he stuck pretty close to daddy. He did great and then decided he would rather enjoy the snow from inside and go have a "bite-bite."

It's a...

We are SO happy to announce that our "baby Caden" is going to be a big brother to a little baby boy! I have to say everyone I know that is pregnant right now are having girls...with the exception of the couples in our Sunday School class. With this baby it is the 18th or 19th boy in a row and within the past four years from this particular class. I cannot help but wonder what God is planning for/with all these boy!

Happy 26th!

I have had the pleasure of celebrating two birthdays with the men in my life in the past two weeks, Caden turning one and Chris turning 26:) Happy birthday babe I love you! You are a wonderful coach and teacher but more importantly an excellent daddy and husband:) I look forward to spending many more birthdays with you!

My Man

I have to take a minute to brag on my husband. Chris was a BIG time basketball player in high school and when you are in a small town that pretty much makes you a celebrity. He was awesome (and can still ball with the best of them, his players LOVE when he practices with them). Anyway, last week a sports writer for the courier-journal came up with an all decade all team kinda thing, and Chris was named to the team:) (all decade all scorers:) Seriously that's awesome and I am SO proud. Of course his response was "that was a long time ago," but to be remembered for it is so cool. Here is the link:

it was last Wednesday so scroll down a little bit. Just to give you some perspective some other guys that are listed along with Chris are Chris Lofton, Patrick Sparks, etc.

**disclaimor: Chris would probably KILL me if he knew I wrote this he is one of the most humble people I know.

One is SO fun!

It was so funny when we gave Caden his cake he took a little taste and then kept looking at me like he was saying "Mommy arent you going to take this away?!" Then he just went to town.

Christmas and Birthdays!

I am only two and half weeks late on Caden's birthday party pictures and Christmas stories, but we have been on the move and now we are settled with internet and I will not keep you waiting any longer. We had such a great holiday season! I LOVE Christmastime because Chris is off for a couple of days and it is ALL about family:) I will let the pictures tell the stories because they can do a much better job then I can! (We had a "family only" birthday party the day after Christmas Caden did GREAT!)
Hanging out with his pop-pop and great grandma!
